Just sold the three Play 1's I had for a few years. Gave up using them in the end. Sound quality really nice, but the app. Just lose the will to live using it.

Amazing hardware, Obnoxious software
No Linux support and even the apps for platforms they do support are garbage.

Yes, the sound quality is amazing, but the software to control this great hardware is truly embarrassing.

Amazing products - terrible customer service
Amazing products - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

As we all know Sonos make fantastic products, but your better off purchasing them from q 3rd party retailer so that you can get customer service when you need it. If you purchase from Sonos directly, then prepare yourself for a shocking experience! Slow shipping, terrible customer service and if you return something then be prepared to wait FOREVER for a refund. So much potential - but so sad!

Cannot fault customer service
Needed to buy a 10 watt USB charger for my Roam. Had a couple queries and the prompt response from Jamie at Customer Services was excellent. Part ordered and delivered on time within 48 hours free delivery by courier.

Diabolical
I bought a Beam that I decided to return for a refund and 5 weeks later I still have it. After waiting over a week UPS collected the Beam and redelivered it about a week later because I’d not been given all the necessary documents! I contacted Sonos by phone and was told that a whole new return request would have to be initiated and three wakes later I’m still waiting for them to send me the returns labels. I’ve phoned them a few times over the last few weeks to complain and I’ve always been told the delay is simply because Sonos are “really busy”. Apparently Sonos are so busy it literally takes weeks to arrange a return. Worst company I’ve bought from.

website promises 100 easy return, but it's anything but easy!
website promises 100 easy return, so decided to have a go with their products. they didn't work, so i initiated a return, which in itself took 3 weeks, but even when they did get my items back, the refund is delayed time and time again, with no effort made to really apologise. I have had two rounds of waiting 3 weeks for my money, to be told the same thing again and another 3 week delay. They don't care, and i wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Sonos Roam paper weight
I have had problems with this ever since purchase. I have a BT router and there was a channel switching issue with it from the first four moths. Alledgedly fixed by BT??? However, it has still been a pain. We’ve had channel congestion problems but sorted it BUT the Roam still either doesn’t show on the network or drops out when track or the volume changes. Sonos are in complete denial. There’s 100s of similar complaints on the net. How can a company like this release such a defective product?

Best stereo ever - worth every penny
Yes, Sonos is expensive, but you get what you pay for in this case. Best sounding, most versatile, best value one could ask for. I have had Sonos for 3+ years. Would never return to the conventional wired system ever again.

Some of the worst customer service you will get in the UK...
Do not be fooled by this"great" company name. Their customer service is probably some of the worst you will have the displeasure of dealing with. Sent back an item for a refund. One and a half months later and many many calls, I am still told that there is a backlog due to their "new" payment system.

I will be going to my credit card company to open a fraud case against them to try and recoup the funds.

Avoid this company at all costs!!

Absolutely awful app
Absolutely awful app, I have multiple devices, all dropped off one day for some unknown reason, I try to connect them, get told to go from one app to another, neither actually working. I have been trying to set them up again for weeks and they just won’t work, customer service sucks, products are overpriced, and the sound isn’t worth the hassle. If you buy any product from this god awful company you may as well burn your money in a pit.

I am a big fan of sonos
I am a big fan of sonos. I have the Gen3 Sub, Play 5, lots of play 1s, sound bars and so on. I thought I'd go mobile so went for the Sonos Move and traded in my Bose SoundLink 3 (as this in a different class, it's a larger speaker). I knew the sound wouldn't match the Bose, but my goodness the connectivity on this Sonos Move speaker is garbage. It struggles with sound dropping in and out when you try to use over WIFI. I have a full mesh network and all my other Sonos speakers deliver uninterrupted audio. Seriously bad buy. Think twice on the move!

Awful customer service
Great products, with utterly awful customer service. Received a faulty power cable with my Sonos One. Called the team to request a replacement, then didn't hear anything for 10 days. Chased, received assurance my case was being escalated. 5 days later, chased yet again. Apparently my case was being escalated even further. It's now more than 20 days since I reported the issue, and I have just received an email from them saying that they haven't heard from me 'in a while' and if I don't respond to their email in 24 hours they will consider the case closed.

Completely ridiculous, and clearly they don't seem to care about customer after sales care. All this for a faulty power cable.
